The Constellation Orion
orionPIfin.jpg

While imaging the comet on December 16, I took 50 or so tracked images of the constellation Orion. Tracking was done with a SkyWatcher Startadventure and my Nikon D800 and Nikkor 85mm prime f/1.8 lens stopped down to f/4 ISO 3200 with a 25 second exposure. The following a image is slightly cropped maybe 20%.

Images were imported to and exported from Light-room to tif files then aligned, stacked and processed mostly in PixInsight. With a final touch up in Photoshop.
